Anna Rozanovskaya - Russian translator

With my head and heart...

I've been continuously working as a freelance translator since 2002.

Since July 2005 till 2008 I worked mostly for SDL Russia Company, performing lots of different tasks (translating, reviewing/editing, proofreading and managing projects). Before that I made translations for different smaller translating agencies and publishing houses. So, during 2002-2005 I translated 2 books from English ("What our children teach us" and "Create YOUrself") for VES publishing house, and participated in co-translating several books from German.

In April 2008 I entered the Moscow Business School (based in World Technological University) that allowed me to start specializing in new areas like business, management psychology and practice, economics, finance, accounting, etc.

Currently I collaborate with several translation companies and work in many specialization areas: marketing (in nearly any field), IT (including networking, datacenters, reservation and server systems); press releases, websites, manuals, datasheets and SW.

I’m looking forward to learning new things, meeting new clients and doing new projects. I can take on quite urgent jobs, and work beyond normal working hours. In my work, when I come across something unfamiliar, I always try to complete a thorough search and also submit a query to the customer (when the deadline allows). My main guidelines are:

  • You may not sleep nor eat, but never break the deadline
  • By deadline provide quality work
  • Precise and beautiful translation makes the quality
  • And never stop learning!
